About the house
Destination OBX features eight bedrooms: Four kings, one queen, one room with two twins, one room with a pyramid bunk, and one room with a bunk bed, day bed and trundle. Five full baths and a half bath will ensure you have everything you need to freshen up after a day at the beach.
Our large, completely updated kitchen, open entertainment space, and large dining tables can accommodate parties up to 18 comfortably. This unique space is perfect for family get-togethers, celebrations, and game nights.
Our kitchen is fitted with a new counter depth stainless steel fridge, new sink & faucet, new dishwasher, and new backsplash for a modern flair. The new counters are expansive leaving room for many cooks in the kitchen. Or perhaps those that want to observe can sit along the bar and cheer on the cooks!
The large entertainment space has a 65” Smart TV (bring your app passwords!), couch seating for ten+, and a relaxed seating area for four.
In addition to all of the amenities above, our bonus spaces include a large recreation room with wet bar on the first level, leading outside to a full pool and hot tub. Destination-OBX offers three levels of deck space facing the ocean in front and overlooking the pool patio in the rear.

“The house was so big and perfect for our whole party of 15 people! Plenty of rooms and beds, all well furnished and beautiful! Everything was just as described in the listing, and we really appreciated the access to the various books, games, dvds, and beach equipment as well as the whole spacious kitchen which was well stocked with cooking supplies. Barbara was so kind and welcoming and willing to work with our unconventional party, and she responded so quickly and helpfully when we had questions. I would absolutely stay here again!”

“Barbara's house is amazing! It is so close to the beach, and the house is even better in person! She was great with communication and made sure I had everything I needed. We loved going to the beach and hanging by the pool on sunny days, and when it rained the house has a large hot tub, pool table, foosball table, and many games and puzzles. Barbara also has lots of beach chairs, carts, coolers, umbrellas, and beach games, which we really appreciated! My group cooked in most of our stay, and the kitchen is more than stocked with everything we needed to make large group meals. I highly recommend staying here!”
